Kuhio Shores 116 is located in sunny Poipu, the dryer side of paradise. From your own private lanai you have a gorgeous view of the sunset and every evening you can watch the turtles play in a small cove 35 feet from the lanai. The building is located next to a sandy beach with some of the best snorkeling on Kauai. The condo has one bedroom and one bath, a living room, dining room and a complete kitchen. The living room and dining room has floor to ceiling glass with an unobstructed view of the ocean. The dining room has a glass table with rattan chairs and overhead ceiling fan. The living room has a very tropical feel to it with white bamboo furniture, berber carpet and a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen has tile floor and raised panel oak cabinets. It is fully equipped with microwave oven, self cleaning stove, blender, toaster, coffee maker; everything you'll need for making your own meals. The bathroom has tile on the floor and also around the bathtub. The bedroom also has bamboo furniture, California King-sized bed with pillow top, and a ceiling fan to keep you cool at night. This is the best value for your money if you like to stay on the south shore. It has just about everything that you might want at an affordable price! Thank you for everything. ~ Jamie July 8th 2010 The condo is nicely furnished with all the amenities, furniture is comfortable, king size bed sleeps great. The best thing about this unit is the view. The patio/lanai is 20 feet from the ocean. The view is amazing. We spent lots of time watching the waves, the surfers in the distance, and the occasional turtle. We rarely went out to dinner because you can grill fresh seafood on the site and have a view that's better than any restaurant. The owner, Ann, was easy to deal with, responsive, and very considerate of a couple requests that I made. We had no complaints and would highly recommend a vacation here! September 26, 2010 Everything about our visit to Kauai and the Kuhio Shores #116 was excellent. This was babymoon, as my wife had just found out that she was pregnant earlier in the summer. Needless to say, she wasn't always feeling 100%, but there was plenty to do at our condo. First off, the owner, was very helpful in all parts of our trip. We felt very comfortable communicating with her and she was extremely accommodation. She has created a great vacation spot with her condo. The condo was spacious and clean with all of the amenities of home. There's plenty of chairs, towels, snorkel gear, beach mats, umbrellas, and anything you would need to tackle the ocean that is right in front of the condo. There is a DVD player and a laptop. I never used the computer, but did use the free wireless with my laptop and it worked fine. We found a Redbox and rented DVD,s for $1 a night. Everything we needed came with the condo. The views were great. We would play cards over breakfast and watch the surf. Sitting in the living room, watching a movie, we would watch the surf. just look over, and you see turtles floating in the water. I surf, so my wife would lay on the lanai and watch me surf. The entrance to the water was just a few steps away on a perfectly manicured, soft grass. Great snorkeling and surfing is right there. It was quiet in front and there is a great sand beach just steps away. There is a lot within walking distance, especially the new shopping area. The Beach House and Brenneckes are must visits when you go to Kauai. Don't miss the Kauai Cookies outlet and get shaved ice to make the trip complete. We would recommend this condo to anyone.
