Kuhio Shores 308We fell in love with Kuhio Shores 308 when it was first built and purchased our unit from the developer in 1976. The location is perfect; lots of ocean and shoreline views, plus it's shaded from the afternoon sun. You'll appreciate its 3rd floor location close to the building's two elevators and coin laundry. From the condo's large and private lanai, you can see turtles swimming in the surf right below the unit. The ocean is almost directly below so it's a little like being on a ship. We completely renovated, remodeled, and re-furnished the condo this year. Upgrades include wall to wall marble tile floors, granite countertops, bamboo wanes coating, and top of the line appliances, cabinets, and fixtures. This condo is surely one of the nicest in the building. You'll appreciate the spacious and comfortable living/dining area with full kitchen and ocean-side dining. There is a flat screened, wall-mounted digital TV. Plus desk with stereo radio and cd player. Free cable internet service is also provided. Listen to the romantic sounds of the ocean from the bedroom and awake each morning to a beautiful pacific sunrise. The king-size bed is one of the most comfortable you'll find while traveling. Watching and listening to the waves crash 24 hours a day is the best (and cheapest) form of therapy ever! We thoroughly enjoyed watching the turtles from the lanai. We did not have the best weather due to the time of year, but it did not matter that it rained most of our stay as we were content just to hang out in the condo. We were so sad to leave. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing us to stay there for the price range we needed. We will start saving so we can return to #308 in the future. Dear Doug, Thank you for offering your condo at Kuhio Shores, it was wonderful. We have stayed on the island of Kauai twice before and found that the snorkeling next to the Beach House restaurant was the most spectacular on the Poipu side of the island. It was great to be able to walk to that area, which we did several times a day. Staying on Turtle Bay is breathtaking, we had so much fun hanging out on the lanei and viewing the turtles throughout the day. The location of Kuhio Shores was exactly what we were looking for and you did a lovely job on the remodel of the unit. Thanks again! Hello, It has been very busy here in Minnesota since our trip to Kuhio Shores in November but I wanted to be sure to pass along how pleased we were with our stay there over Thanksgiving. The condominium complex was welcoming and well maintained. The unit (308) itself was just perfect! We were comfortable there and loved coming home to sit on the lanei and listen to the waves after a long day of finding hidden beaches. We hope to come again soon. Thanks for the opportunity. Kuhio Shores is located in the area known as Poipu just south of Old Town Koloa. The building is less than 2 miles from Poipu Beach and it is also within walking distance of Spouting Horn. Prince Kuhio Park is located across the street as is the Prince Kuhio condo resort.
