Kauai Beaches Near Kuhio Shores

Small sandy beaches lie on either side of Kuhio Shores providing excellent sunbathing and access to the reef.

About five minutes from the condo, you can picnic and barbecue at the beautiful crescent beaches of Poipu Beach Park, the most popular visitor destination on the South Shore. Another great family beach is Salt Pond Beach Park, featuring spectacular sunsets and safe lagoons, good swimming and great snorkeling.

Of course the island of Kauai boasts some of the most beautiful and famous beaches in all Hawaii making it a favorite vacation or honeymoon destination. With a majority of its coastline being fine, white or golden sand beaches, you can easily find a place to soak up the rays.

Additional "must see" beaches for your Hawaii vacation are Lumahai Beach, Polihali Beach, and Kekaha Beach. The beaches of Kauai are spectacular and free to visit. Whichever beach you choose, you should ask questions of the locals and be alert to potential hazards.

In addition to these beaches there are many other good snorkeling beaches on Kauai.

Kuhio Shores is located in the area known as Poipu just south of Old Town Koloa. The building is less than 2 miles from Poipu Beach and it is also within walking distance of Spouting Horn. Prince Kuhio Park is located across the street as is the Prince Kuhio condo resort.
